Bank Relationship Manager

About the Role

The Bank Relationship Manager at findCRA will refine and scale our sales processes to acquire new bank clients of all asset sizes throughout the nation, from small community banks operating in a single county to the largest banks in the country.  This position will work closely with company leadership to set and meet company sales initiatives and goals.  The Bank Relationship Manager will manage the full pipeline of bank sales activities, from lead generation to initial conversations, product demos and pricing discussions, to sales conversion and account retention and growth.  Our team is dedicated to revolutionizing the way banks and nonprofits work together in the CRA space. Primary Job Responsibilities

Work closely with our management team to learn and understand why and how each of our bank client types engages with our products/services and our data.

Collaborate with company leaders to refine and maintain a scalable and sustainable process for selling our core SaaS (Software as a Service) products to bank prospects and clients, including lead generation, sales conversion, and retention and growth of existing accounts.

Lead efforts to identify, qualify and contact bank prospects to discuss or demonstrate findCRA’s products and generate new sales opportunities.

Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through various outbound methods, mainly cold-calling and emailing contacts identified through research.

Follow up on any inbound leads that come from the company website, social media, events, trade shows, advertisement, referrals, etc. to quickly respond, qualify, and process the lead accordingly.

Communicate with bank prospects and clients primarily through phone calls and emails, with occasional in-person meetings and travel; most of your client interactions will be conducted remotely from your office location in Louisville, Kentucky, with occasional opportunities for traveling to meet clients within the immediate and surrounding geographic area or to represent the company at industry events.

Periodically contact existing bank clients to ensure they’re using and getting value from our products and services and are happy with their overall experience as a findCRA client.

Track all lead generation, prospecting, and sales conversion activities and details in the company’s CRM software, Copper.

Meet or exceed individual and company sales goals, quarterly and annually.

During conversations with bank prospects and clients, identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional findCRA products or services, in combination with or independent from core SaaS product purchases.

Collaborate with company leadership and marketing staff to develop outbound lead generation strategies, including email and call campaigns, content marketing, advertising, social media, etc.

Collect feedback from bank prospects and clients to pass to company management, including any observations, praise, concerns, or ideas related to feature requests, new product releases or enhancements, company messaging, processes, company brand and reputation, or other matters that will help improve our products and services.

Become a findCRA product expert so you can quickly and fluidly respond to questions and determine how to best help prospects or clients during discovery calls, demos, and other interactions.

Build and maintain knowledge about current bank industry trends and emerging issues, specifically related to the Community Reinvestment Act and vendor due diligence requirements, to confidently discuss key pain points, emerging issues and anticipated needs for bank prospects and clients.

Represent findCRA at company events, conferences, and national trade shows to build brand awareness and generate leads for potential bank clients.

  • Experience managing multiple initiatives at once with ability to prioritize deadlines and follow through on commitments made to clients and other internal and external stakeholders regarding follow-ups, deliverables, etc.

  • Ability to handle complexity and formulate simple, intuitive solutions or action plans; you’ll be taking our established sales methods and optimizing them for success on a national scale, with plenty of support from our leadership team

  • Sharp, analytical thinker who is open-mined and proactive in sharing thoughts or feedback
  • Exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing; ability to write crisp, succinct emails and lead engaging conversations on the phone and in-person
  • Direct experience presenting and interacting with clients at all levels of an organization, from the end user to C-Level Management

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience
  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Language fluency in English; additional languages, especially Spanish, a strong plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to travel periodically, with advanced notice provided for multi-day or overnight travel
  • Must work a minimum of 40 hours during a standard Monday-Friday work week, with flexibility to work weekends or evenings occasionally
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work and out-of-office engagements
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
Additional Preferred Skills (Not Required)
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite products, especially Google Search, Calendar, and Gmail
  • Strong grasp of major social media platforms and experience utilizing them to identify, qualify and communicate with prospects
  • Familiarity with banking or community development industries, especially in the areas of CRA, community grants, donations, loans and investments, tax credit financing, or regulatory compliance
  • Direct experience working in a startup company, early stage business, or technology company, specifically in a sales or product development role
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting for extended periods of time with reasonable accommodation; approximately 7-8 hours per day

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of $45,000 to $50,000 with unlimited potential to earn commission on core and add-on product sales
