Ginger McCullough, CRCM serves as Director of Risk Management at Phelps County Bank, where she leads the bank’s enterprise risk management program and supports strategic initiatives through effective governance, compliance, and risk oversight. With a career dedicated to helping financial institutions navigate a complex regulatory environment, she brings extensive experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and community banking.

Prior to joining Phelps County Bank, Ginger held advisory and leadership roles with Sterling Compliance and FORVIS Mazars (formerly ProBank Education), where she worked with financial institutions across the country to strengthen compliance programs, manage regulatory risk, and address evolving regulatory expectations. Earlier in her career, she served in compliance and risk management roles at Great Southern Bank, developing expertise in regulatory compliance, operational risk, and community banking operations.

Drawing on experience gained from both the banking and consulting sides of the industry, as well as from working with institutions nationwide, Ginger is passionate about helping community banks balance growth, risk management, regulatory compliance, and their commitment to serving local communities. She enjoys sharing practical insights and strategies that help institutions meet regulatory expectations, strengthen CRA performance, and support the credit and community development needs of the communities they serve.
