Solomon Hess Capital Management manages the SBA Loan Fund. Investments in the Fund may be qualified for Community Development Investment or Lending Test consideration, depending on an investor’s specific circumstances and applicable regulatory review.
The SBA Loan Fund is a certified Community Development Entity (CDE), as designated by the CDFI Fund, part of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
The SBA Loan Fund acquires the federal guaranteed portion of adjustable-rate SBA 7(a) loans made to small businesses located in low- and moderate-income census tracts within an investor’s Assessment Area.
The Fund operates nationwide and can target specific Assessment Areas, such as counties, ZIP codes, or area codes. The Fund does not operate on a best-efforts basis: 100% of each investor’s capital, from a CRA perspective, is invested in that investor’s explicitly designated Assessment Areas.
The SBA Loan Fund has $864mm in assets, $698mm in equity, and 117 CRA-motived bank investors as of June 30, 2026.
