Ben leads the direction and execution of findCRA’s vision, primarily through product design and development as well as strategic partnerships and investments. He also works alongside the findCRA leadership team in managing daily operations and ensuring that users and clients receive the tools and support they need to meet their community development goals. Drawing on a diverse background in banking compliance, legal research and customer development, as well as a passion for innovation, Ben continues to be instrumental in finding new ways to support the efforts of banks and nonprofits as they partner together to improve communities. Ben has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky, as well as a background in law through studying at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law School.
Brian Waters brings over fifteen years of experience in regional banking compliance to his role as President and Co-Founder of findCRA, where he focuses on operations and sales as well as driving processes and marketing outreach. During his time in banking, he oversaw regulatory requirements in the areas of fair lending, HMDA, CRA, lending, deposit and BSA/AML for a multi-billion dollar regional bank with retail operations in six states and third party operations in all fifty states. He is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), certified Anti-Money Laundering Professional (AMLP) and Certified Controls Specialist (CCS). Brian is also an Advisory Board Member for LHOME, a CDFI serving Greater Louisville. He is a graduate of the ABA’s National Compliance School and holds Bachelor’s of Arts degrees in Business Administration and English from Bellarmine University.
Harry Talamini joined the findCRA team in 2015 and oversees all aspects of the company’s web development and IT as the Chief Technology Officer & Lead Developer. Prior to his role at findCRA, Harry founded HelioTech LLC, a web development and technical services company supporting a diverse group of corporate clients. Harry holds a Master’s of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in the same discipline from Miami University of Ohio.
Brooke Searcy focuses on educating and equipping nonprofits to tell their CRA Story, from understanding how CRA applies to their programs and services to becoming CRA Certified. Prior to joining findCRA, Brooke worked for Louisville Metro Government, where she oversaw the allocation of the city’s External Agency Fund Grants and other activities supporting nonprofits providing affordable housing and family services throughout the city and county. She transitioned from that role to the city’s Community Action Partnership division as a project manager focused on community development and revitalization efforts, including working with low-income families and empowering self-sufficiency. Brooke began her career in banking, working both in retail management and compliance at Republic Bank in Louisville. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications from the University of Kentucky.
